Our furry animal companions give us so much joy and love, give them the best life by helping to ease their pain and stress/anxiety, while improving their immune system and general health and wellbeing.

The backbone of this product is Cannanda CB2®, the multi-award-winning, physician-formulated terpene blend known to activate your dog’s CB2 receptors (which are one of the largest components within a critical body system often referred to as the “master regulator of balance”). This blend is based on beta-caryophyllene, a powerful terpene that's proven to be safe and effective in dogs and other animals.

The activation of these CB2 receptors can help bring fast relief from a wide assortment of health issues your dog might be experiencing, yet difficult to communicate.

Great for dogs of all ages and stages!

This CB2 oil is registered with Health Canada as a Veterinary Health Product with the following approved official claims:

  • May support joint health
  • May help relieve stress during travel, diet changes, and weather changes
  • May support a healthy immune system
  • Supports general health

Product FAQs

Is Dog-Ease CB2 safe for cats?

Unlike dogs and humans, cats metabolize certain terpenes much slower, which can increase the likelihood they will build up in their body to undesirable levels. So amounts given to cats should be much lower.

When using Dog-Ease CB2 Hemp Seed Oil cats, the recommended dose is 1-2 mL per day.

Can horses also use Dog-Ease CB2 Hemp Seed Oil?

Yes, for sure! Horse owners often reach for a jug of vegetable oil when wanting to bump up energy consumption for weight gain or wish to add shine to a coat. Others look to Essential Fatty Acid products for the same reasons humans use EFAs—cardiovascular health, pain and inflammation, brain development, etc.

Dog-Ease CB2 offers all the above with an amazing EFA profile (providing a unique omega-3 called SDA) and added terpenes to help balance a horse’s Endocannabinoid System to bring relief to things like pain and anxiety.

Dosing is the same as what the label says for dogs, which is 1 tsp (5mL) for every 25 lbs of body weight (this won’t be enough oil if the goal is weight gain, so top up daily calorie consumption with any other healthy oil).

As with all new feedstuffs, horses should be slowly acclimated to the oil, starting with a quarter to a third of the daily dose, and then increasing slowly from there. A slower introduction schedule allows the horse’s gastrointestinal tract to adapt to the fat, which will reduce the likelihood of soft manure, a typical, though usually transient, effect of using any oil in general.

What's the difference between CB2 and CBD?

When compared to CBD, our CB2:

1) Directly activates CB2 receptors (CBD does NOT activate any cannabinoid receptor)

2) Has far better bioavailability (bioavailability is one of the main limiting factors for CBD)

3) Likely due to the two reasons above, has about a 60-70% success rate...or 2 out of every people will find it works (CBD's success rate is only about 33%, or 1 out of 3 find it works)

4) 100% GRAS status (Generally Recognized As Safe), making CB2 as safe to consume as food (CBD had its self-affirmed GRAS status revoked by the US FDA)

5) Just because an ingredient is GRAS, however, doesn't mean it's safe for dogs. We only use ingredients proven to be safe for humans AND dogs (CBD still has many gaps in knowledge on safety and toxicology--not just for humans, but especially for dogs).

6) Does not have adverse drug interactions (CBD has numerous known adverse drugs interactions, and can be dangerous for any dog or horses taking certain medications)

7) Legal to travel with internationally (an important point as international travel starts to open up again--you cannot travel across international borders with CBD if you're travelling with your dog and need to bring pain or anxiety relief with you)

8) Far more affordable! (By a LOT!)

Can I use Cannanda CB2 if my pet is taking medications?

Yes, when use in recommended amounts, you can use Cannanda CB2 oil with medications. Every ingredient used has GRAS status, which is a US-based food safety designation meaning that these ingredients are safe food ingredients.

That said, it’s important to keep your prescribing veterinarian informed so that they can make any adjustments to your medications as needed.

Will CB2 oil work for my dog?

Cannanda CB2 products have an estimated success rate of 60-70% (or 2 out of 3 will benefit), making this one of the most successful products on the market (by contrast, most therapeutic products have a success rate of 30-50%).

Since the unique blend of terpenes in Cannanda CB2 works through activation of your dog's CB2 receptors, how much of a benefit they feel will depend on a number of factors related to their physiology. First, their body has to produce enough CB2 receptors in the problem area. For example, if they have hip arthritis, their body would normally up-regulate the expression of CB2 receptors around their hip, so that when you administer these terpenes, they’ll find relief. If your dog's body doesn’t adequately up-regulate CB2 receptors, there will not be enough receptors to activate so they might not feel the benefits of the terpenes as much. BUT pay attention to other aspects their health, which might improve (those areas where CB2 receptors are present in sufficient quantities).

Second, the CB2 receptors’ conformation must be in the “open” configuration. This allows the terpenes to activate CB2 receptors and transmit a signal into the cell. If, however, the receptors are in the “closed” configuration, the terpenes might not be able to activate the receptors, or the signal might not be transmitted as it should.

If either of these factors are sub-optimal, the benefits might be muted (although they might still get benefits to other areas of their body in unexpected ways).

How long will it take to notice a benefit?

Some dog's notice a difference from the first dose or within the first day, while for others it may take up to 1 or 2 weeks of continuous use. The health benefits might be immediately noticeable for some, while for others, it might be more subtle at first and gradually increase over time. If you are not seeing the desired effect, try increasing the dose and/or frequency of use.

Can I travel internationally with it?

While Dog-Ease Hemp Seed Oil is legal in many countries, it contains hemp seed oil, which may not be legal in various countries around the world. Check with local laws before travelling with hemp seed oil products.

Can I give CB2 daily for general health?

Absolutely! While CB2 oil is an excellent therapeutic solution for many pets (and people) dealing with specific health conditions, it's also an amazing daily supplement to help keep your furry loved one healthy.

Studies have shown that activation of CB2 receptors can keep their body operating optimally, and will not only help reduce the risk of disease and illness, but it can help reduce the severity of consequences (e.g., one study on strokes suggested using a CB2 receptor activator prior to a stroke might help reduce the area of damage, as well as reduce the resulting memory impairment).

CB2 Seems to Help

We have not finished our first bottle of CB2, but we have noticed an improvement in our 12 year old black lab's movement. She seems to be in less pain and her spirit seems much improved.

A game changer

We have 4 Border Collies. All have various issues. Anxiety. Pain, Arthritis and Hypersensitivity. We give them their dose in the evening and this allows them and us to get a decent night's sleep. We have been using it for over 10 months. When we started, we noticed each dog had the benefits come to frustration at different times. Anywhere from immediately to 5 days. It is a game changer for all of us. Cannanda is very easy to deal with. The website is user friendly, which I truly appreciate.

Amazing and effective!

I have a 17 year old cocker spaniel who has had osteoarthritis flare-ups in the recent years and every time she has a flare-up, the vet prescribes pain management medication like Gabapentn.
Last week she had another flare-up again but we could not get a prescription for 4 days so out of desperation, I ordered this Dog-Ease Hemp Seed Oil with next day delivery and administered it to her as soon as it was delivered around noon the next day. By evening (my puppy being about 21 pounds in weight), started showing improvement. I couldn't believe it! The limping eased, and she started walking longer distances - I still had to help her stand up, but her walking started to improve. On the second day, her limping went away completely and by midnight, she was climbing up and down the two steps we have for her to get on the bed. Just two and a half days in, this 17 year old pup was pain active again!
Additionally, the customer service is just amazing! I had questions about dosage and administration and they provided prompt and empathetic replies with detailed information without any canned answers, as if a friend is telling you what to do.
Believe me, if your dog has pain or mobility issues, get this for them. If they refuse to take it with the food, then just administer it orally with a plastic syringe. 5 Star product and service!!!!
