"Dogs have CB2 receptors just like we do, and I knew BCP could help them just as much — this concentrate is especially great for quick anxiety relief, like during thunderstorms or fireworks."

Description
  • Joint stiffness, mobility & comfort
  • Worry, stress & nervousness
  • Immune support & general wellness
  • 0% THC  ·  0% CBD  ·  Non-intoxicating

Dog-Ease CB2 Terpene Blend is a 100% natural, food-grade terpene blend that delivers beta-caryophyllene (BCP) — a naturally occurring compound that activates CB2 receptors in your dog's body, supporting comfort, calm, and overall wellness. Zero THC. Zero CBD. No intoxicating effects.

BCP and the canine endocannabinoid system

BCP (beta-caryophyllene) is a naturally occurring terpene found in black pepper, cloves, and rosemary — and the first dietary compound identified to directly activate CB2 receptors. Like humans, dogs have an endocannabinoid system (ECS): the regulatory network involved in pain, inflammation, mood, and immune response. BCP binds directly to CB2 receptors throughout your dog's immune system, joints, gut, and nervous system, triggering a natural anti-inflammatory and calming response — without touching the CB1 receptors in the brain that cause intoxication.

  • Activates CB2 receptors CB2 receptors in dogs are concentrated in joints, immune tissue, and the gut — the same sites relevant to pain, inflammation, and anxiety.
  • Supports the canine ECS A well-functioning endocannabinoid system helps regulate your dog's pain threshold, stress response, and immune activity — all from one compound.
  • Human-grade & food-safe This is the exact same formula humans take. Every ingredient is food-grade. Safe enough to take yourself — which is a standard most pet supplements can't meet.
  • Non-intoxicating BCP does not affect CB1 receptors in the brain. Your dog stays clear-headed, alert, and themselves — just more comfortable.

What dog parents use it for

  • Joint stiffness & comfort The most common reason dog parents reach for Dog-Ease. Hips, knees, elbows — BCP supports the CB2 receptors concentrated in joint tissue.
  • Worry & nervousness Thunderstorms, fireworks, separation, vet visits, travel. Daily use helps support a calmer baseline — less reactivity, more settled behaviour.
  • Hip dysplasia & mobility Dogs with hip or elbow dysplasia often move more freely and comfortably with consistent daily use.
  • Longevity & health span Dogs' lives are short. Daily ECS support, healthy inflammation response, and immune balance are building blocks for more good years together.

How Dog-Ease compares to CBD for dogs

Feature Dog-Ease (BCP) CBD for dogs
THC content 0% guaranteed Varies — trace THC common
Intoxicating effects None — no CB1 activity Generally none, but purity varies
Safe for competition dogs Yes — not a cannabinoid Risk of positive screen
Estimated success rate ~60–70% of dogs respond ~33% for pain relief
Delivery methods Oral, topical, inhalation Oral only (typically)
Liver health concerns None Health Canada has raised concerns about CBD and liver health in animals

Note for competition dogs: BCP is a food-grade terpene, not a cannabinoid. It will not trigger standard drug screens. This matters for dogs competing in sports, agility, or other events where testing applies.

Two ways to give it — oral or topical

Use whichever method suits your dog best — or combine them for targeted support alongside full-body benefit.

Oral Place drops in food, on a treat, or directly in your dog's mouth. The easiest method for daily use.
Topical Apply directly to the affected joint or muscle area and massage in. Ideal for localised stiffness, hip dysplasia, or post-surgery recovery.

How much to give

Dosage by body weight

A general guideline is 1 drop per 25 lbs of body weight, given once daily. Start there and adjust up or down based on your dog's response over the first week or two.

Dog's weight Starting dose
Under 25 lbs 1 drop daily
25–50 lbs 2 drops daily
50–75 lbs 3 drops daily
75–100 lbs 4 drops daily
Over 100 lbs 4–5 drops daily

For ongoing daily support, pair with Dog-Ease CB2 Hemp Seed Oil — the terpene blend for fast-acting targeted relief, the hemp seed oil for nutritional omega support.

Ingredients

100% natural and/or organic, GRAS-status, food-grade terpenes featuring beta-caryophyllene (delicately steam-distilled from oranges, pine, clove, and sage).
Supplies 20 mg of beta-caryophyllene per drop.

Third-party lab tested to be free from yeast, mould, solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals.

Directions for Use

Dogs & Horses: Use 1 drop for every 25 lbs of body weight. This serving can be safely doubled if needed. Mix into food, or add drops to their favourite treat just prior to consuming. May be used topically for targeted local effects.

Cats: Since cats metabolize terpenes much slower than humans, dogs, or horses, we only recommend using this blend with an aromatherapy diffuser. Place a couple drops in your ultrasonic diffuser like you would with any essential oil and place close by your cat.

Allergens

Contains D-limonene.

Free from: gluten, eggs, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustaceans, soy, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphites, animal by-products, carrageenan, sugar, alcohol sugars, artificial flavours and preservatives, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, styrene, musk ketone, benzyl acetate, methylene chloride, BHA, BHT, solvent residues, and toxic processing aids.

Product FAQs

Is Dog-Ease terpene blend safe for cats?

Unlike dogs and humans, cats metabolize certain terpenes much slower, which can increase the likelihood they will build up in their body to undesirable levels. So amounts given to cats should be much lower, and only for short periods of time.

When using CB2 Dog-Ease terpene blend, we suggest you only use a couple of drops in an aromatherapy diffuser placed near your cat.

We also suggest you consider CB2 Dog-Ease Hemp Seed Oil, with the recommended amount for cats being 1 mL per day.

Can horses also use Dog-Ease terpene blend?

Yes, for sure! Suggested amount is the same as what the label says for dogs, which is 1 drop for every 25 lbs of body weight.

Can I use Cannanda CB2 if my pet is taking medications?

Yes, when used in recommended amounts, you can use Cannanda CB2 oil with medications. Every ingredient used has GRAS status, which is a US-based food safety designation meaning that these ingredients are safe food ingredients.

That said, it’s important to keep your prescribing veterinarian informed so that they can make any adjustments to your medications as needed.

Will CB2 oil work for my dog?

Cannanda CB2 products have an estimated success rate of 60-70% (or 2 out of 3 will benefit), making this one of the most successful products on the market (by contrast, most therapeutic products have a success rate of 30-50%).

Since the unique blend of terpenes in Cannanda CB2 works through activation of your dog's CB2 receptors, how much of a benefit they feel will depend on a number of factors related to their physiology. First, their body has to produce enough CB2 receptors in the problem area. For example, if they have hip arthritis, their body would normally up-regulate the expression of CB2 receptors around their hip, so that when you administer these terpenes, they’ll find relief. If your dog's body doesn’t adequately up-regulate CB2 receptors, there will not be enough receptors to activate so they might not feel the benefits of the terpenes as much. BUT pay attention to other aspects their health, which might improve (those areas where CB2 receptors are present in sufficient quantities).

Second, the CB2 receptors’ conformation must be in the “open” configuration. This allows the terpenes to activate CB2 receptors and transmit a signal into the cell. If, however, the receptors are in the “closed” configuration, the terpenes might not be able to activate the receptors, or the signal might not be transmitted as it should.

If either of these factors are sub-optimal, the benefits might be muted (although they might still get benefits to other areas of their body in unexpected ways).

How long will it take to notice a benefit?

Some dog's notice a difference from the first dose or within the first day, while for others it may take up to 1 or 2 weeks of continuous use. The health benefits might be immediately noticeable for some, while for others, it might be more subtle at first and gradually increase over time. If you are not seeing the desired effect, try increasing the dose and/or frequency of use.

Can I travel internationally with it?

Yes, CB2 Dog-Ease is pure terpenes, which are regulated in the same way as essential oils and natural flavours.

Can I give CB2 daily for general health?

Absolutely! While CB2 oil is an excellent therapeutic solution for many pets (and people) dealing with specific health conditions, it's also an amazing daily supplement to help keep your furry loved one healthy.

Studies have shown that activation of CB2 receptors can keep their body operating optimally, and will not only help reduce the risk of disease and illness, but it can help reduce the severity of consequences (e.g., one study on strokes suggested using a CB2 receptor activator prior to a stroke might help reduce the area of damage, as well as reduce the resulting memory impairment).

Where are your products manufactured?

All our products are manufactured in Canada in GMP-certified facilities.

Further, over 97% of all our raw materials are also sourced from Canada. That's rare in the supplements industry where even if products are manufactured in Canada (or the US, UK, or Australia), they are made with ingredients sourced from overseas (the vast bulk of that coming from places like China).

We are truly a Canadian/North American brand!
